Description
This is a 100 cm (39,4″) long kangaroo leather show lead in silver leather with a combination of blue & silver beads. It has a snap hook so you can attach any collar you like.
The lead has a 60kg (130lbs) core, and two set of beads. The lead is braided under the beads, and the beads are secured with a knot so they won’t move. Thickness of the lead is about 5mm (3/16)”. Snap size 46 mm (1,8″).
Note that the fringes and snap is not included in the length above.
Kangaroo leather is the most durable and soft leather you can find, and is very suitable for show leads. The leather gets even more soft the more you use it. The leather is beveled and conditioned before braiding, and rolled after braiding to get the leather as nice and soft as possible.
If you take good care of your lead it will last a very long time. Always put it back in its pouch after using, and it doesn’t hurt to condition it once in a while, especially after using in wet conditions.
