WHAT FORM OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept payments through PayPal or Square Payments. Square accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. No personal account needed with PayPal, but if you have a PayPal account, you can also pay using your bank account or you can do an e-transfer.
Like in a boutique, you can contact us via Facebook, for example if you need help with sizing or to choose a model or color. You may pay through Facebook as well, we can send you an invoice with the protected Square Payment or with PayPal.
HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZED COLLAR FOR MY DOG?
We have a simple and quick method to properly measure your dog’s neck size for your new collar. Please do not use previous collar size, since every company use a different measuring method. In order to get the best fit we recommend you to look at our SIZING PAGE directive.
We do refund for size or color mistakes, but with a 35% restocking fee, since every item was specially handmade for you and your dog.
It is your responsibility to give us the proper measurement.

DO YOU SELL MATCHING LEASHES?
Yes we do. Every collar has his own lead. The design is repeated close to the handle. They come in 4 feet. For a longer lead we do 6 feet on special order but only in black and brown leather. Leads comes in 1/2”, 3/4” and 1” width.
We have since a year some amazing kangaroo leather show leads, who might be custom too in different length and colors with a nylon slip collar, a leather slip collar, a snake chain, or with a snap, as you wish. You have to contact me to customize your own show lead, or you may choose one of our suggested products.
IMPORTANT : Those gorgeous leads are strictly sold to professional handlers. They are not some everyday leads and can be dangerous for the security of your dog.
WHAT ELSE DO YOU SELL?
We sell belts with the same Italian leather and the same design to match your dog. Almost all the collars can come with a matching belt. If you don’t see it on our website, contact us and we will make it done for you.
We sell dog jewelry from Norway, tassels from Montreal made in Pandora and Swarovski crystals & kangaroo leather. Tassels are used only for a nice event or to look glamorous for an evening. They can be used as a purse’s jewelry for mom as well. They are not intended to be use everyday. We have kangaroo leather show leads for handlers. Kangaroo leather bracelets for mom, and a huge variety of bows that we bring only at the shows.
Everything is handmade, in the best quality. We offer you gorgeous Italian & Australian leather with strong hardware.
WHERE ARE WE LOCATED?
Dog on Leash is an E-commerce and we are located in the Laurentians, Quebec, Canada. We don’t have any boutique, but you can meet us at some CKC conformation dog shows, agility, obedience events etc. in Quebec & Ontario.
We go to the famous Woofstock in Toronto. We do festivals as well as dog events, fund raisers, horse shows in Quebec and Ontario. Every year is different, so follow us on Facebook. You will see where we are showing all year long.
On Facebook at dogcollarsandleashes you will see the arrival of our very new models, reviews from some of our customers, the locations where we will vendor, and in our blog you may find a lot of informations for dogs. You are welcome to become a member and discuss with us.

RETURN AND EXCHANGES
IF A COLLAR OR BELT DOES NOT FIT – CAN I RETURN IT?
In the event that a collar or a belt any item you purchased doesn’t fit – we accept the exchanges with a 35% restocking fee and buyers will have to pay for the shipping.
Since everything is handmade and customized for you, it is very important to give us the proper measurement, model and the proper color. Please take your time. This is your responsibility. We exchange or refund anytime in the case of a defect item, imperfections which comes from the creator. A craftsmanship error.
A picture of your items would be taken before we will send it to you to avoid mistakes and misunderstood.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
We do ship worldwide. We ship with Canada Post for Canada & the US, but we may ship with another carrier depending of your area and your country, all at your convenience.
Please contact us before going further in the purchase, and we will find the best shipping fee for your parcel. Contact us as well for express mail.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes due to the customs in their country.
HOW MUCH TIME WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVED MY ORDER?
Usually since it is handmade it takes around 3 weeks for you to receive your items for the United States and Canada, for foreign countries depending on the choice of your transportation. It may take longer time, but you can follow your parcel all the time.
We are not responsible for delays at the customs. We will contact you by e-mail when your order is complete, and we will give you a tracking number to follow your parcel. For security we ask for a signature at arrival.
In the case of a lost item with the tracking number we gave you, you have to contact the carrier. Dog on Leash is not responsible for the carrier’s mistakes, but contact us and we will open a ticket to find out what happened and help you as much as we can.
It is important for foreign countries to take an insurance with the carrier in case a mistake happen. For Canada & the US the tracking number is included in the expedited shipping, as well as the insurance of $100 CA. You may ask for a biggest insurance with an additional fee anytime.
There is a limited thirty day warranty on all merchandise from date of sale.
Warranty is limited to craftsman defects and damages due to normal wear and tear. Repair or replacement is at the sole discretion of Dog on leash Inc.
We use only the best material, strong hardware and quality leather. Swarovski crystals from Switzerland. Our collars and leads are very well made and will last with good care, they are made for a life time.
Suede & metallic leather are more fragile. Suede can not be cleaned like regular leather. Metallic leather is sensible to scratching, depending of your dog and the use. Metallic is more a fashion fabric and should be use more as a second dog collar for occasions. You know your dog…
IMPORTANT! The collars are not intended to be used as tie outs, or in a manner of excessive tension or pulling (use a choker under for a big puller). The leather may stretch with time and eventually brake and might cause death!
Dog on Leash is not responsible for the use of your items. Same for a dog who swim with his collar, would you go with leather boots in the water? They are sold for normal use. I invite you on my Facebook, to see the reviews and comments about my products from clients who are using them since years.
